Spasmin is a treatment for menstrual pain and abdominal cramps. It helps relieve symptoms of menstrual pain and cramps. Spasmin is also used to treat abdominal pain by relieving muscle spasms in the stomach and intestines. It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) and prevents the release of certain chemicals that cause pain and inflammation, thus relieving cramps, pain, swelling and discomfort. This medicine has no effect on the amount or duration of menstrual bleeding.
